Jawad Ibn Ahad
I am Jawad Ibn Ahad, a researcher and graduate of North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering with a CGPA of 3.89/4.00, earning the Summa Cum Laude distinction as one of the top graduates of my cohort. I currently serve as a Research Assistant at the Machine Intelligence Lab (MILab) and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North South University, where I support courses in Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, and Concepts of Programming Languages. Alongside my research and teaching, I contribute to the academic community as a peer reviewer for journals including Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems with Applications, and PLOS Computational Biology. I am actively seeking MS or PhD opportunities to deepen my research contributions and push the boundaries of intelligent, trustworthy AI systems.
🔬 Research Interests
Understanding internal representations and reasoning mechanisms in large language models and multimodal understanding, with a focus on diagnostic evaluation, multimodal analysis and structured reasoning induction.
